Here are a few testimonials of people who have bought puppies from me.
If you are a past puppy buyer and would like to put a testimonial on this page please e-mail me your testimonial and I will add it to this page. For you new puppy buyers, if you would like references please let me know, I can provide e-mail addresses for you to contact past puppy buyers. I tell everyone you should always check out your breeder, there are good, ethical breeders and there are plenty of puppy mills. You want to make sure your breeder is ethical and does regular vet care so your baby will be happy and healthy for years to come.

I had always wanted a Pomeranian for years. I spent many years researching breeders around my area and found Deb's website, Pomhaven. Her knowledge and love of the breed is evident on her page. Although I had loved the puppies and her website, I was concerned at first. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and from my awareness of fraud and the reality of crime or immoral behaviors I have always been leary of what goes on behind things and have a harder time trusting sources I am not familiar with. I live rather far away from Deb so I was not able to go out and pick out a dog or meet her at first. For the first time I decided to trust my instincts and I started to talk to Deb early in 2010 lettng her know that I am interested in a pomeranian. From the beginning I had this natural comfort with her and the website. We had communicated all this year so far. I just want to let anyone who may fear that Pomhaven is not truthful in its service or fear that the pomeranians are not quality puppies, you should have no fear because Deb is genuine and sincere. There is no question in my mind that Deb cares for her pomeranians with the utmost care and concern, she loves them and just wants the best for her puppies. She is very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all your questions or concerns about the breed or anything concerning pomhaven. One thing I loved was how I felt like I could ask her anything, no matter how stupid or common sense it may have been, I knew she would help clarify anything and that she always had a quick response even though she has a busy life.
Due to the location I am in and my work schedule I was not able to ever meet Deb in person or see the area my puppy grew up in unfortunately. However my parents picked my puppy up and they met Deb. She talked to them for an hour to give any concerns about the transition and what to expect. She provided a file with information for me and my parents to understand the background of pomeranians, information on hypoglycemia, training, and what sorts of things are poisonous to the puppy. My puppy left with a new squeaky toy as well which was very thoughtful and she loved it. My parents got to see her play with her dad as well and saw all the little puppies playing in a kiddie pool. Since I was not able to meet her I had loads of questions. The first thing my parents said about meeting her was that you could tell how much she cared and loved her pomeranians. I think that says a lot right there.
I had just brought home my puppy, Prada, she is an orange sable girl. You should know that Deb raises her puppies with care. I had dogs growing up and am familiar with the typical puppy behavior. Prada is the most loving, sweet, and cuddly girl I have ever seen. She loves to play and be held by anyone. She would follow me around all day. She socializes well with anyone and any dog (I live in an apartment where everyone has some animal). Her loving behavior goes to show what type of home she was raised in.
Deb is a wonderful person and breeder. Her puppies are beautiful and amazing. I am so pleased with everything Deb has done for me and I am glad I made the decision to adopt my little girl from Pomhaven.
Thanks again Deb for everything!!

To anyone who is looking for a Pomeranian !
This is Paula Hovden. We had recently loss our dog, Yogi, who was part pomeranian and peekineese, to an illness he had developed. He was 8 years old. It was the first time I have ever lost a pet and it was something that came on suddenly. It was very hard and felt an emptiness inside. We have another dog, Sophie and cat, Rocca as well, but it was not the same. I would spend times alone and just cry missing having Yogi around.
My husband started searching for another pomeranian. This time we wanted one from a breeder. He searched and searched the internet, until one day while reading the Oregonian, he found Deb's website of Pomhaven Pomeranians. My husband researched the website before he mentioned it to me. Once he told me, I was hooked. I had previously checked the internet for other breeders and sent some e-mails out, but nothing compared to Deb's website. We looked at all the pictures, testimonials, and all the information Deb provides regarding pomeranians. We were very impressed. I kept in contact with Deb via e-mail and by phone before we arrrived at her home. Deb was very sympathetic to our situation and knew how much having another one meant to us.
We thought about meeting Deb half way to pick up the puppy (because of the distance we had to travel), but decided to make the trip all the way to her place of residence. We felt it was important to actually see where the puppies were living and how they were taken care of. Deb and her family opened their home with "open arms". As we walked in, there were 4 puppies available. They were beautiful and full of life. It came down to two of the puppies that we could not make a decision on. We decided on the puppy "Cisco" (Ringo is his name now). He was small but full of life and had beautiful eyes.
Before we left, Deb spent the time talking to us about raising pomeranians and their heritage, as well as answering any questions we had. She gave us a folder that had detailed information on the shots that Ringo had received and which were due next. She provided us with information regarding "hypoglycemia" and what to do to prevent that. She also provided us with detailed information regarding pomeranians and how to train them for tricks. We have never been provided detailed information like this before. It was amazing the wealth of knowledge she had. She never appeared impatient with us. She took the time to answer all of our questions. As we were leaving, she provided us with a toy, a sample bag of food and gave Ringo a shot, to help him with the long journey home.
We have never been so pleased with our new puppy, Ringo. He has won both of our hearts. That emptiness I had inside is now gone except the memories I have to cherish. I continue to stay in touch we Deb and send her pictures of how well Ringo is doing. I want her to know that he is well taken care of and loved.
If you are looking for a pomeranian, I would strongly urge you to contact Deb. Deb is a wonderful breeder. You will not find another website or breeder like her. She is very sensitive to your needs and will answer any questions you may have. No matter how many e-mails you send or telephone calls you make, she will always respond. She makes you feel so wonderful about obtaining a puppy from her. My husband and I love our new puppy, Ringo. He is full of energy and life. He keeps us on our toes and we laugh more now than we ever had in the past. Ringo does things that are just amazing to watch. As much as we love our other two pets, they have come around to adjust to Ringo. They are older pets and realize he has a lot more energy than they do. It is funny sometimes to have my husband watching me in the backyard chasing Ringo to catch him. Just when you think you have him, he makes another mad dash in the opposite directions. All I do is laugh.
Thank you Deb, for bringing this joy into our life again. We will always cherish what you have done for us and will never forget that.
With warmest regards,
Paula and Rob Hovden

To the fantastic Deb of PomHaven Pomeranians,
This is Laura Bennett. I wanted to send you a letter to express how grateful I am that you are such a great breeder! I am truly in love with my two little fur babies that I acquired from you February of this year. My little Asta and Schatzie are doing great! They have worked their way into the family and have been doing great with my existing pom Theo and my mom’s dog Lady.
It was absolutely great to get to come to your home and get to meet you in person and your family. It was really great getting to see everything ahead of time. I started working with you before my dog Sammy passed away in January and your support and concern was very touching and wonderfully sweet of you! I knew I wanted a little girl and I knew I really wanted a chocolate pom or a chocolate parti pom. When you told me Schatzie finally arrived Dec. 22, 2008 it was an early Christmas for me!
She is everything I wanted in my little girl. She’s strong, smart, happy, and wonderfully loveable. If she’s not playing with her two brothers, or in Grammy’s lap, she’s being carried by me, held in my arms, or laying in my lap or right next to me on the couch. She is super smart and figured out the ‘sit’ command in no time flat! I’m working with her on a lot of other things and I’m greatly looking forward to being able to teach her rally obedience, and agility (Superman’s speed has nothing on her!). It took Asta a tiny bit longer (like maybe a day) before he had the sit command down but he picks up on a lot of things super fast. He’s tried to copy Theo on “Saying Please” and he almost has it down just from watching Theo!
As you know, I had only planned on getting the one pom but when I came to meet Schatzie for the first time, Asta picked me and just wouldn’t let me get away without him. He definitely stole the spot light and even after a week from when I came to visit you I couldn’t get that loveable ball of fluff off my mind lol. As you know; I got them both. My mom ADORES her “59th birthday present” and he is definitely a perfect addition to my home. Schatzie and Asta are two halves of the whole and have blended in with my resident pom Theo wonderfully. Every day consists of a football game across the living room after a squeaky hamburger or a wrestling match lol.
Asta and Schatzie got their first introduction to the “dog parties” that my mom and I enjoy throwing and had a fabulous time! Thank you for taking such good care of all your babies and breeding to improve the health and temperament of the Pomeranian breed. You are an asset to the breed and an absolute gem!
To anyone who is considering acquiring a Pomeranian from Deb of PomHaven,
Deb Campbell is an absolutely wonderful breeder! She is also a truly wonderful person!! She was a delight to work with and she so generously put up with ALL of my emails and I emailed her A LOT lol. She gave me every little detail of everyday life for my little girl. When my little Schatzie was born, she sent me lots of pictures and I was able to pick a couple of the pictures so I could have announcements made for my new little girl. Schatzie is an absolutely beautiful rich chocolate brown with some adorable white markings! She is 5.5lbs and just fabulous! Asta has got to be one of, if not the most beautiful poms I have ever seen. He is an absolutely gorgeous orange color with lots of platinum blonde markings. He looks like a little lion and has the huge coat to go with it! He is a perfect 4.5lbs and has the sweetest temperament of any dog I have ever met.
I wanted to see what Deb’s home was like and the environment that her dogs lived and were raised in. She was most gracious in allowing me and my mother to come into her home and interact with all her beautiful dogs. Deb’s home is extremely clean and all of her dogs are greatly cared for. They are clean, well fed, well groomed, happy, very well adjusted and socialized. After getting to meet Deb in person and getting to meet all her wonderful dogs, I knew she was the breeder that I wanted to get my baby from. I ended up getting two babies from her and have cherished every minute of the day with them. Puppies are always work and every bit of a commitment as having a child but Asta and Schatzie are very well adjusted, have wonderful delightful personalities and they are always the envy at the dog park or anywhere else we go with them. They have learned quite a bit from my other pom Theo and I love coming home to my three furry babies.
Deb started using the names I wanted and both of my babies came home with their own little puppy kits and their own toys to play with. The potty training has gone much better than I had expected. They did great starting off on the puppy pads and are now going outside consistently and can sleep through the entire night without any accidents. They love getting to play with their toys and show great potential for trick training, agility, work as therapy dogs, and future dog models (I’m in the beginning stages of launching my canine couture line and naturally they’ll be my models). Deb is a wealth of knowledge. When my mother’s dog is no longer with us and it comes time to add to our family, we will definitely be getting our next pom baby from Deb!
Warmest regards and best wishes,
Laura Bennett
| | dated 9/14/2009 Hi Deb, I'm sorry its taken so long to get this email to you, we've been so busy loving on Honey! I tried calling and left a message with someone (your daughter?). I picked up Arlene Friday night and we have been home a few nights. She is beautiful and so fluffy, like a little teddy bear! We've decided to call her Honey, we tried calling her Darla but couldn't help calling her "Honey Honey"...lol....maybe its her coloring or just how sweet she is. She sleeps in bed with us and sleeps through the night, which has been great. She has been really good about using the puppy pads while indoors but we've been taking her outside often. We are really impressed with how well she uses the puppy pads and how easy it is to read her "signals" when she needs to go out. I will send pictures as she gets older and goes through her puppy uglies and when she gets her adult coat. I loved seeing the puppy pictures on your website and then seeing what the puppies look like when they get older. We are so impressed with her personality, she is the most laid back puppy I've ever met, sleeps through anything and she is surprisingly calm and well mannered. I also like that she makes great eye contact. She has a large shoe box full of toys and plenty of bones, she likes to get inside it and chew her bones. We've already started walking her on a leash and she is doing great, although she is still getting used to her collar. I've been looking into getting an agility set for the backyard, its really inexpensive and I've found a training place for when she is older for running agility courses, if nothing else I'm sure she'd enjoy the exercise and one on one training time. Yes, you may use my email as a reference on your website, I would also be more than happy to give a personal reference if potential puppy owners wanted to talk with a a past buyer. Anyway, I love her and we are very happy with her, Thank you! Tacoma, WA Thank you again! ~Holly | |
Ya u really should have no concerns in purchasing from her. shes 100 % fantastic. i wanted a cream pom about a year ago but she didnt have one at the time, so i told her id keep in touch b/c i wanted a choc male eventually. so we kept in touch for about a year and then i put a deposit on the dog i wanted the day it was born, i didnt want anyone else to take it! she is very knowlegeable about poms , she even gives u a whole entire packet of info! when i bought me cream pom all i got was a can of food, lol. DEB also gave us a food dish, and a toy, so sweet. all the parents are on site and very healthy. she sent me pix every wk so when i saw him i knew what to expect. he is very healthy and so cute. m y cream pom doesnt have much of a great coat, but all her poms have nice full coats so i know his will turn out great too. its sad looking at all the pom sites sometimes, because i see people dressing up there dogs in ridicuolous outfits and putting them in coffee cups to show how cute they are, but its just money for them. deb genuinly loves her poms, and cares for them greatly, and just wants them to go to a great home, so dont have any doubts, i wouldnt purchase another pom from anyone else in the future. oh and i got him at the end of february 2008. : ) Jamie Lamborghini
I love this little dog-he is a lover boy-
He is soooooo beautiful-I will only get
poms from you!!!!!
Thank you for doing a beautiful job.
Let me know when you have other litters-
Much Gratitude,
Pam
Hi Deb just wanted you to know that we are all in LOVE with her. She is more beautiful in person than I could have ever imagined. Her personality and mine are a perfect fit. She sleeps in bed with me all night long and we take naps together. She is so smart too. I've already taught her to climb the stairs to my bed and speak and potty training is going way better than expected. she potty's on command, either inside with the litter box or outside. I have bought 4 books on trick training and can't wait to teach her everything.
Everyone who sees her wants her! they all say they have never seen a cuter puppy. I am definitely going to show her. I am going to start obedience training today.
My daughter was VERY impressed with you and your home. She could tell that you were doing everything right and that all your dogs were happy and well loved. It obviously shows with Whisper as well. She is a doll and I couldn't have asked for a better match.
Thank you so much for everything and I hope to buy another puppy from you in the near future.
Please feel free to use any of the above as a testament on your website. I couldn't be happier!
sincerely,
Victoria Grace
- After looking on Pomeranian websites after websites I finally came across Pomhaven.org. Deb's website is so organized and very cute with lots of pictures of her poms (unlike others that for some reason didn't have many puppy pics) And before I had even decided to purchase one of Deb's pom puppies she was so fast in answering my e-mails and all my questions (and I had a lot being a wanna be first time toy owner). Once I decided to purchase one of her puppies she would send me updated photos of my puppy and use my chosen name and start training my puppy to respond to that name. On the pick up day she gave me a complete puppy kit of everything I would need to start off with the little guy including a new puppy toy! I would recommend getting a pom from Deb of Pomhaven to my closest friends and family. She is extremly professional, nice and really caring of her dogs. I was completely satisfied with her and my new pom puppy that I just adore!

I was very impressed Pom Haven. Debbie was very nice and great to work with. Her pomeranians are all so beautiful and in about any color you could desire. The dogs all seemed to be clean and well taken care of. My family is thrilled with our new addition and would definitely recommend Pom Haven to anyone.
